So after a short *coughs* break from my previous weight loss posts and now post-holiday (sadly I returned home with another spare tyre, 4 mozzy bites and sand in my washbag) I came across a spanky new linky from 7hippopotamus and was re-motivated to shift this extra toddler-sized bulge that now clings to me everywhere I go…that’s in addition to the actual toddler and baby!
All notions of “I’ll start tomorrow/Monday/after next weekend/once the kids start school (!)/etc.” have been given their marching orders and I’m determined as part of the #BloggersChristmasSlimmingClub to shift a stone by Christmas.
My only hesitation in joining was that every time I mention weight loss on Twitter I’m suddenly deluged with tweets from “Fitness Dude”, “Workout Babe” and people trying to sell me the latest diet secret which seems to solely consist of water and mint leaves! I’m also gradually coming to terms with the fact that such diets usually aren’t successful in the long term and I’m just going to have to learn to decline the family bag of Cadburys Caramel Nibbles and simply re-educate myself to eat more healthily *sobs then snores in that order*.
I’m slightly late to this party and have just started so will report back to base next week, hopefully minus a lb or two!
